Friday, July 31, 2009 – How to Find Your Latitude in the Northern Hemisphere

It is useful to look up at night every once in while, to see the stars and get to know them. I was lucky enough in my second year of University to choose Astronomy 101 as one of my courses. Although, I did not pursue Astronomy any further, as I chose Mathematics, I have for the last 42 years had some idea of what goes on up there.  Here is a neat little application for estimating your latitude if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.
