Tuesday, May 26, 2009 – Geometric Sequences, a Cool Example

When each term is multiplied by the same number, called the ratio, over and over, we get a geometric sequence. They can grow, or shrink, very quickly. To put it into perspective, Icosa uses some pennies and a chess board to illustrate. Please click on comic if you need to enlarge.
