Tuesday, April 21, 2009- Changing Fractions

The first two, of ten, rules about fractions involve how can you change a fraction to an equivalent fraction, but with a different denominator. Also, how can you simplify a fraction. Now these rules do NOT change, no matter how weird the fraction gets. So, tomorrow, when the senior students learn about rational expressions in algebra, they will be using the same rules that you will see on Mondays and Tuesdays for the next few weeks.
