In the next 5 weeks, I will show you 5 ways to solve quadratic equations. Quadratic Equations occur when you have a power of 2 involved in the equation, such as 3x^2 + 5x -- 7 = 0. They are (1) Square Root Method, (2) Factoring, (3) Quadratic Formula, (4) Solve by Graphing, and (5) Completing the Square. The first video describes the Square Root Method that you use when there is no linear term (the “x^2″ term is there, but there is no “x” term.
